CHICAGO — Virtually everyone who responded to this month’s Wire survey says his or her laundry uses some form of cooling equipment for the benefit of production workers, but only a little more than half (55.2%) say they display instructional posters about avoiding heat stress and/or offer employees instruction or training in how to keep cool while on the job.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Salt Lake City will host the Joint Committee Annual Meeting (JCAM) of the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA), a free, members-only event, next month. Sixteen educational sessions will highlight the Aug. 4-6 meeting at the Hilton City Center, focusing primarily on three areas important to textile service operators today: safety, the environment and skilled labor.
